Vintage 1965 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate Small Skaters Kai Lange Denmark Blue Porcelain

A beautiful vintage Royal Copenhagen annual Christmas plate from 1965, titled “Small Skaters” (Små Skøjteløbere) and designed by Danish artist Kai Lange.

Rendered in Royal Copenhagen’s classic blue-and-white porcelain, the winter scene depicts children skating and sledding across a snowy Danish landscape. The deeply molded border features pinecones, evergreen branches and stars, giving the plate wonderful dimension.

The reverse carries the Royal Copenhagen Denmark backstamp along with Kai Lange and the plate title. A hanging wire is already present for wall display.
