Vintage 1971 Royal Copenhagen annual Christmas plate, “Hare in Winter Landscape” (Hare i Vinterlandskab), made in Denmark.

This beautiful blue-and-white porcelain collector plate depicts a quiet winter countryside scene with a hare sitting in the snow beneath a large bare tree and rustic split-rail fencing.

The detailed molded border features pinecones, radiating foliage motifs and stars, with 1971 incorporated into the lower border. It is a wonderful example of the classic Scandinavian blue-and-white Christmas plates produced by Royal Copenhagen.

The reverse bears the Royal Copenhagen Denmark backstamp, three-wave mark, and the title:
